Remember One Dollar Jackpot? Every now and then (usually every other day), a contest is out for anyone with PayPal to enter. All you need is to comply with an answer with 25 words or less.

The second time, I was so busy. It was a valentine entry.

The third time, I was a winner again as I describe the sound I’d like to wake up to.

I just wonder, though, why PayPal deducts 34cents or 34% from the measly dollar when we are both verified and payment merely comes from the PayPal fund (not credit card). So instead of the full dollar, I just get 66cents. But since I’ve won thrice, I’ve gotten $1.98 total. Good thing I don’t have to spend so much time thinking of my entries.

The latest, by the way, is to describe your hero or someone you look up to in 25 words or less. This morning my husband was nearby when it refreshed the home page to that new contest. He was the one who thought about the idea, I just rephrased it poetically. So it was actually a team effort.

By the way, you can send multiple entries. I just don’t.

I recently won at Onedollarjackpot.com. I’ve been busy but I’ll fulfill my promise, now that I’m back on the net. As usual, this is thought of slash brewed slash created slash composed, now at this very moment my fingers run through the keyboard. It wasn’t enough, though, for miami heat tickets. I still won, nevertheless.

Last Friday after coming home from the market,

I said I’ll rave about it when I win,
So now I’m trying to take the spin;
Typing this post, letting you all know,
My entry finally stole the show!

There’s just one thing that made me frown,
My won dollar won’t reach the town;
The contest holder’s PayPal account,
Unverified, lost thirty-four cents, you count.

Nevertheless, sixty-six cents was my net,
For doing something my mind is set;
Besides, it’s free, why should I complain?
Perhaps because it’s not what’s promised my brain?
