Christmas is the holiday of the year that most of the world gets ready for. It is also a time when many fire accidents happen, simply because the tenants of the house chose a cheap set of christmas light over good ones like brown wire lights. That is why it has been the goal of the government to screen those that are in the market and they are educating the public to know which kind should people buy and what to avoid. It is not just for the safety of the economy but also of the community. It is never a joking matter when your possessions are eaten up by a faulty wiring that turned up a fire.

It is fun tonight as old videos from 1992 are being shown on the wide screen. Everyone is laughing about as they realized how they looked back then. Imagine the baby then is now a lady and the little kids are relatively old now. The styles of that generation is different. Body sizes are different also. The video was spontaneously brought out because of a puppy that goes around the house now. A similar puppy lived in that time. Then everything else became a time for reminiscing…

Hubby is the one handling the teens and singles choir in our church organization in UCG-Manila. Last Saturday, I learned from my eldest daughter, that they have a project that will make the members be confident with singing with the mic. Each group will choose 3 songs and will go to a singing booth where their songs will be recorded on CD. It seems a good idea and well accepted by the choir members that they got to think already which songs to sing. Hopefully they will be confident that any nady microphones for sale will be very useful for them and develop the talent of making others happy through their singing.

This afternoon my daughter requested that we go bowling. She knew it was my sport when I was still single and that I did good during the time I learned in 88-89. Yes, 24 years ago. I     tried to go to the nearest where we were but when we reached the place it has been burned for a long time now. When we went to the other one which I used to frequent everyday, it is also closed. I learned that there is only one remaining bowling house in Olongapo City and it costs P30 per game now. It used to be P5 or 6 pesos before. Yes, it is not automatic. There are still pin boys that set up the ten pins. Since it has been a long time ago, I was at my worst. I even fell down and hit my worse knee. I’m happy, though, because the last game is always better than the former. We had 3 games each. I was trying to look around if there are familiar faces. It seemed there were but I did not manage to ask. Imagine, 24 years ago I was single. Now I had my 18 year old daughter play with me.

I am here now at my hometown, at the house of my cousins, because one of my cousins came home from the US. It has been a long time. Six years. I have my eldest daughter with me. Tomorrow he will be going back to the US again. Meanwhile people are coming over trying to get a glimpse of him while the rest of us are watching through their home theatre system and myself blogging. I borrowed this laptop from my nephew. Thanks Danjo! At least I can do some online tasks that are waiting for my connection. Tomorrow we will be going back to Manila. My hometown’s in Olongapo City. Haven’t been here for quite some time. Will be frequenting this place more often, I guess.
