I’m having a terrible headache right now.
Yesterday as we went to Church, walking at noontime under the sun was scorching. We had to walk some 400 meters from getting off the train station to the door of the UCG-Manila Church Activity Center…without umbrella to give some shade.
It was such a delight to get some cool air from the aircon but that did not last long because yesterday, the attendance jam-packed the hall plus the warmth of the brethren made the day even hotter, of course with joy in our hearts, nevertheless.
At night when we went home, it took some time to wait for the bus from Ayala that goes to Laguna. After almost an hour waiting, we rode an alternative bus which was just like an ordinary bus because the aircon was not cooling as it should.
The whole night’s sleep was humid with the fan at its maximum.
Today, we had a monthly meeting and walking at 12:30pm under the sun from the train station to the same hall was even worse than yesterday. Since there were just a few of us in the hall, the aircons gave some cooling relief.
We left at around 7:30pm and were invited to dinner at Max. It was a heavy dinner and my head was heavy too with headache.
We just arrived around 10pm. It’s even hotter in this house I had to work undressed.
As I’ve always said, there are only two seasons in the Philippines: hot and hotter. We are experiencing the latter.
