What Internet Disconnection Can Do

Just a little while ago I was totally disconnected from the internet. It happened also yesterday for about 4 hours. I lost the connection at 2pm and since I was going out anyway, it was quite fine.

When I came back around 5pm, though, still there was no connection. I had to call the provider. I knew it landed on a call center so I’m not that hopeful. But around 6pm I got my connection back. I was like a happy child given a piece of candy.

But then the pull of old music and being able to watch the making of Miss Saigon got me to sleep at 3am. I woke up at 4:30am to ready my husband to work. I got back to bed and woke up at 9am with a headached. Coffee! I need coffee.

When I was ready, though, I got disconnected.

It was a technical problem, my DSL provider said. I had to wait.

Meanwhile, my eyes were hurting. I needed to rest my eyes off the monitor. I guess that was the solution. Since there was nothing I could do online because I was offline, I went to do something else instead. Clean the house.

Now I just got the connection. Now I got to whack my brains to work within one hour what usually is done for 2 days.
