Of Being ‘Shaggy’ And ‘Top Gone’ And Having ‘HIV’

Being shaggy and top gone and having HIV is no laughing matter especially if you are the one affected. It’s nothing to be ashamed of but there are people who perform less than actual capacity out of shame and inferiority complex.

Before I proceed any further, let me explain or give the meaning of the well-known terms here in the Philippines.

• shaggy = shaggylid ang tubo (hair growing merely at the sides)
• top gone = top hair gone
• HIV = hair is vanishing

Now everything is plain.

I have a friend who now works with Bill Gates. Before that, though, he was here in the Philippines suffering from HIV. It was hereditary and at a marrying age he has been rejected. From the women I know who made some comments, they said he could have been ok but he looks a lot older than her because of his hereditary-disease (HIV) :(.

Then one day we saw each other with little spikes growing on his forehead! It looked like planting hair is never fun but gave him the boost to look much, much better.

A year later he was able to marry and no longer has HIV. He is now a member of AIG (all is growing)!

I forgot to ask if he chanced upon a Manhattan hair transplant service.
