I Was About A Month Late That Could Have Meant $80,000

I joined a voting contest that will give me $80,000 (maximum) to blog for a year, given every other week. So it’s just like getting a paycheck twice a month.

It started in July 1, 2006 and ended just a few minutes ago. If I joined a month ago, my plan to incorporate the pinoy bloggers and share the spoil would have worked.

This is not crying over spilled milk. It’s defining what to do next time around. Actually, the deadline did not really shine brightly when I applied. It was the yet low (around $4k only) funding. So I thought, it’s way far to hitting $160,000.

If, about 2 weeks ago, I immediately tapped my blog friends, beating less than 19,000 votes (the top 1 vote) would have been easy. Besides, voting is done everyday.

Anyway…thanks to all those who made the effort to vote for me and even posted about it on their blogs.

Next time around, I have the lesson etched.
