Many weight-watchers or dieters or would-be weight reducers are probably making a ton of excuses to be able to eat and be merry with a lot of food all around. Five hours to go and midnight will soon strike. For many that means a LOT of food.
How can you eat a lot without getting the guilty feeling that you broke your diet towards getting slimmer or getting lighter? Or at least, that despite of what you are going to eat to the point of gluttony, that you can still say, “It will be ok, I will just flush it tomorrow.”
I may have not been doing it now but for some time in my life I did. It’s rather expensive for me to follow the “eat as much as you can” diet since we hail from a financially poor family. But since we’re talking about a party with much, much food, I don’t think that would be a problem. If this be a habit, though, I might find myself with a collection of several catheters since I’ll be very ill then.
Ok, here are the principles:
1. Eat carbohydrates LAST.
2. Eat vegetables and fruits FIRST before eating protein.
3. Drink lots of water a day…even more than 8 glasses.
Carbohydrates, when eaten first, easily gets absorbed by the body and sends signal to your brain that you are still hungry even if physically you have eaten a lot.
Vegetables and fruits, on the other hand, gets absorbed easily also but because of the nutrients it replenishes your body, which your body needs, the signal sent to your brain is that your are filled.
Protein is also absorbed by the body which gives a signal you are filled. In fact, you really are, because of the nutrient but you have to eat it AFTER vegetables and fruits because it takes longer to digest. When it’s time to do the trashing, it’s a garbage in, garbage out system. If you take beef, for example, first before vegetables, the unneeded trash of the vegetable is already rotting and yet the beef is not yet fully digested.
Try this and you will end up eating less even if you still want to pig out on everything.
Oh, eat ice cream and any sweets LAST, later than rice. ![]()
