How To Make Use Of Nescafe Sachets To Turn Into Keychain Wallette, Holdless Purse, Organizer, And Lady’s Wallet

by Cecile Cinco

Before I concentrated on blogging, my feet are the ones on the sewing machine pedal while my hands guide the materials that I feed into the machine’s presser foot in order to create the design I had in mind at the moment.

Yes, even in sewing, I am spontaneous. I don’t do patterns. I form the design in my head and do the actual designing by sitting in front of my sewing machine. It also goes true with chrocheting or any craft I do which I need no online degree to accomplish some craft. Maybe that’s why it’s a bit difficult to teach what I’ve done because I have no record of them.

At least for some, I was able to take pictures of my finished products. Some of them I will organize to have it replicated when i set up my craft store.

I’m a recycler so most of what I do are from recycled materials. I wanted to make something out of supposedly trash. Having “trash” materials doesn’t mean that the produced product is easy. Labor is intense in most cases. That is another reason it would really take time to teach it. I wanted to make things quality-approved otherwise it would still be considered trash.

Since I’m a heavy Nescafe coffee drinker, most of the products I create are made out of Nescafe sachets. I also mix tarpaulin and old cloth calendar or rice sacks in other cases, to make them stable and strong.

One of my first sachet projects was this Nescafe Wallette which I still use now (for a year now, I think) and it’s where I hold my house keys (chain inserted through eyelets) and inside is my Video City rental card and sometimes I keep big bills inside like P1,000 and even some small items like coins and guitar pic. Yeah, they fit all. :)

From that, I’ve come up with different products…

An Organizer, which has used tarpaulin and used cloth calendar (I’ve given this out to a friend):

A hand wallet was also given to another friend. You can insert your four fingers (pinky to index) through the bands which makes the wallet “attached” to the back of your hand, which doesn’t stop your hand from doing something else. I could not demo it since I don’t have the wallet anymore. I intentionally slanted the flap. I named it a Holdless Purse primarily of its feature. (You don’t need to hold it, you just insert your hand and it clings.)

My favorite, which I currently use…my personal Lady’s Wallet.

I hope you enjoyed my Nescafe Recycled Collection.
