Nowadays bloggers dominate the cyberspace. Why not? You can easily put up a “website” and enter your thoughts in a journal fashion. It’s easy to update the content of your “website” because it is a blog since blogs are templated and you just point, drag, and/or click. That’s how bloggers evolved in a mushroom growth.
That is why advertisers take notice. And why not? Bloggers are people too who use the advertiser’s products, one way or another. Instead of flashing the same ad over and over again, advertisers can now use the power of bloggers who write differently from one blogger to another.
If an advertiser spends $100,000 for example to get a prime spot of flash animation internet users most likely are blind to see because most likely, subconsciously you know it is an ad, the other option that may be better is to pay bloggers. Say, if an advertiser pays $10 for each blog post, that can result to 10,000 blog posts of different angle, taste and smell! And more likely than not, those 10,000 posts are permalinked.
It’s a win-win situation. Advertisers get promoted, bloggers get the cut of advertising revenue. Since you’re most likely blogging anyway, why not get paid for blogging?
