I’d like to make this post an opportunity to make a global call to all Pilarians Batch 83. I never have thought I’d see some of them online. Actually I haven’t seen or heard any of my classmates yet…but it turns out that my many of my school batchmates are doing every effort that they can do to reach out for the rest.
By the way, the school’s name is Pio del Pilar Educational Institute (PPEI) at the back of the city hall of Makati (yes, that’s in Metro Manila, Philippines…for those non-Filipino readers out there wondering).
There’s going to be a silver anniversary reunion mid-next year. I know many have gone out of the country either as OFW or migrants but some have declared to come home and be present. It would be nice to see riverside flowers during the reunion!
The main avenue we are using right now to mingle and catch up with each other is the Yahoo Group. There are pictures, database of current whereabouts of members and a list of all Pilarians Batch 83 students filed by section according to the yearbook.
*Went downstairs. Almost burned the BOILED eggs I was cooking! Water gone!*
Back to the topic…
I looked up the school at Wikimapia. I am surprised to notice that the school has been renamed to Gen. Pio del Pilar National High School. Take a look at the satellite view of the now Gen. Pio del Pilar National High School.
Also remember to sign up with Pilarians83 if you’re one of us.
