Finally I’m using DSL!

Yesterday I applied for DSL via Digitel since my existing landline is Digitel. I applied for the minimal 512kbps and the monthly cost is P999 including the landline.

Ordinarily my phoneline is around P600 per month and I buy prepaid internet cards at P100 for 25 hours. Each card will usually be used up by the third day or 4th day if I had to go out and be away from my computer. Do the math, I could be spending P500-700 more and that’s only on dialup.

Now with Digitel’s plan, it would be like P400 more only for the internet and it’s on DSL!

Now that I’m experiencing DSL, I say, I’ve been deprived!

I was expecting them to come on Monday because they said it takes 3-5 days, but they were here this morning! Isn’t that fast? And you know what? They had an error that was already taken notice of. My bandwidth is 1Mbps! The technical person who installed this already called the person in-charge so they know but up until now I’m experiencing 1Mbps connection! Wow!

Now I got to go to work…the main purpose of going DSL is to make my blogging juice flow and not just drip-drop. Back to work! Oh, I also enjoy the view of los angeles flower sets. I just love flowers! Hmmm…
